Our Vancouver office is looking for a
Senior Accountant
to join the Capital Markets Assuranceteam and own the following responsibilities. As a Senior Accountant on our Capital Markets team, your primary focus will be onourgrowingclient base ofpublicly listedcompanies andclients that are working to obtain apubliclistingby:
Effectively and efficiently handle audit tasks independently or within a team environment
Efficiently prepare year-end,interim reviewandprospectusengagementsforclientsin our Capital Marketsteam
Support the planningforand performance ofauditsofon a variety ofclients in our Capital Markets practice.
Prepareand reviewworking papers and financial statementsupporting schedulesin compliance with applicable
Canadian and US/ PCAOBauditingstandardsand Canadian and USregulatoryrequirements
Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requestsand suggestions
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education
You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion
You have 2-3 years ofexperienceauditing publiccompanies inthe public accounting industry
You enjoy working with high growth and dynamicpublicly-listed enterprisesand companies looking toprogress to a public listingliquidity event
You are keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance and regulatory requirements ofentitiesthat are publicly listed in Canada and the USand private businesseslooking tobecome publicly listed.
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay Range: $62k - $96k
