Senior Accountant in Diverse Organization

In this role, you will contribute to financial reporting processes while handling month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. The Senior Accountant will prepare financial packages, support tax compliance, and lead the annual audit. Additionally, you will engage in specialized accounting areas, like fixed asset and lease accounting, ensuring enhanced reporting and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Prepare financial reporting packages and reconciliations

• Assist with tax compliance and audits

• Support annual budgeting and resolve accounting issues

• Drive process improvement and enhance reporting efficiency

Requirements:

• Canadian CPA designation preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Fixed asset and lease accounting experience

• Proficiency in mid-tier ERP system, ideally Net Suite

• Strong communication and organizational skills
