Position: Intermediate Accountant Role at Colliers
Join Colliers as an Intermediate Accountant in Vancouver, BC, on a 12-month contract basis. This hybrid role integrates financial reporting, analysis, and critical corporate accounting functions.

In this position, you'll be at the heart of financial operations, producing monthly reports and forecasts for various business segments. You will engage in corporate accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries, managing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate client billing. This role supports both the Regional Leads and the Assistant Controller with vital financial analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate full-cycle monthly financial reports and forecasts

• Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations

• Ensure proper billing of clients as per agreements

• Update working papers and assist with budget communication

• Support with financial variance analysis

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of financial accounting experience required

• Degree in accounting; CPA designation in progress preferred

• Advanced skills in MS Excel;
Yardi experience is advantageous

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to operate effectively under deadlines
