Join Intracorp Homes as a Contract Corporate Controller, contributing to real estate development finance in Vancouver. Leverage your skills to enhance corporate accounting processes.
This 12-month contract role will see you lead a small team while reporting directly to the VP of Finance. You will manage financial closings, tax filings, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. An emphasis on mentorship and process improvement will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct month-end financial statement closings
• Ensure compliance with ASPE and corporate regulations
• Prepare and oversee tax filings and regulatory reports
• Implement automated processes within the ERP system
• Mentor junior accounting staff to foster growth
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA
• Experience with Canadian tax compliance essential
• Familiarity with Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
• Strong Excel skills for budgeting and analysis
