Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a large well established manufacturing company with it’s head office and significant manufacturing facility located in the lower mainland. An excellent opportunity exists for a recently designated CPA to function as an Accounting Supervisor and report directly to the Corporate Controller. The duties of this role will focus on overseeing the day to day activities of head office and branch accounting staff in A/R, A/P, Inventory Control, Billings, and Payroll.

You will ensure that staff are functioning efficiently and effectively identify inefficiencies in procedures and/or accounting system set-up and advise Senior Management. Other duties will include monitoring compliance of company policies and procedures, making recommendations on improvements to procedures, and undertaking special projects as assigned by the Corporate Controller. The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be desirous of taking on a role with significant supervision.
