Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant at veritree
Join veritree as a proactive Junior Accountant to enhance financial processes. This role emphasizes Accounts Payable and month-end support in a hybrid working environment.

As a Junior Accountant, you will contribute to veritree's Finance function, engaging in activities such as coding and approval processing in Accounts Payable. Your responsibilities include preparing balance sheet accounts and ensuring timely completion of sales tax returns. This role will enable you to develop a solid foundation in various accounting practices while supporting the Controller with additional reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the entire Accounts Payable lifecycle

• Process vendor invoices and employee expenses

• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Assist with month-end journal entries and schedules

• Provide operational support for financial reports

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience

• Knowledge of Net Suite or similar ERP systems

• Familiarity with AP automation tools (Float, Beanworks)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Strong Excel and attention to detail
