In this managerial role, you will oversee compliance audit strategies, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act testing, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory frameworks. Lead audit teams, collaborate with external auditors, and focus on continuous improvement to enhance processes. Your efforts will mitigate risks while ensuring compliance across gas, electric utilities, and non-regulated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance audit programs including SOX Sections 302 and 404 testing

• Collaborate with external auditors to assess risks and control deficiencies

• Enhance audit methodologies through technology and data analytics

• Prepare clear, high-quality audit reports with practical recommendations

• Coach and develop internal audit staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business

• 5 years of related experience with team leadership

• CPA or CIA certification required

• 2-3 years leading SOX compliance

• Strong knowledge of COSO/COBIT frameworks
