Accountant for Canucks Sports & Entertainment

Join Canucks Sports & Entertainment as an Accountant in Vancouver, assisting with monthly financial statements and contributing to budget management in a full-time role.

In this office-based position, you will report to the Controller and collaborate closely with accounts payable, helping with general GL coding and monthly accrual identification. You'll be instrumental in maintaining purchasing credit card accounts, managing intercompany reconciliations across 10+ entities, and preparing monthly tax filings. Your attention to detail will be critical in ensuring financial accuracy for various internal reports and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements

• Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash postings

• Manage monthly intercompany accounting reconciliations

• Approve and post employee expense claims in SAP Concur

• Maintain reports for annual budget tracking

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business

• Proficiency in Excel and D365 accounting systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work under strict deadlines
