This opportunities focuses on preparing personal tax returns and understanding compliance under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and Canadian Income Tax Act. As a Co-op student, you will be engaged in various tasks within the Cross-Border Tax practice while sharpening your collaboration skills with the engagement team. This role spans four to eight months commencing January 2027, ideal for developing foundational expertise in two tax systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cross-border personal tax returns

• Learn and apply Canadian and U.S. tax laws

• Collaborate within a team during tax engagements

• Experience rotations across specialty areas of tax

• Build relationships with clients over engagements

Requirements:

• CPA PEP prerequisites in progress

• Previous accounting experience an asset

• Experience in customer service beneficial

• Strong interest in tax compliance duties

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
