Vancouver Arena Full-Time Accountant Role

Become an integral part of Vancouver Arena Limited Partnership as a full-time Accountant. This in-office position emphasizes financial reporting and intercompany reconciliations.

In this role, reporting to the Controller, you will engage in essential accounting tasks including managing monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations. You will assist with tax filings and play a key role in reconciling purchasing credit card accounts, while collaborating with teams for proper GL coding and payment inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage tax filings for GST and PST

• Collaborate with accounts payable on accruals

• Conduct monthly cash reporting for entities

• Assist with financial matters for special projects

Requirements:

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Accounting or Business

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
