Tax Associate Role

You will engage in preparing tax returns for a range of private company clients while developing essential skills in tax compliance and advisory services. This role emphasizes hands-on learning under the guidance of industry leaders, offering opportunities in diverse sectors, from mining to emerging fields like cannabis and cryptocurrency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns effectively

• Participate in compilation engagements according to CSRS 4200

• Assist with tax planning and compliance duties

• Analyze financial data and produce working papers

• Build client relationships to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree

• Commitment to pursue CPA through Direct-to-Tax path

• Experience in tax or accounting preferred

• Client service familiarity is a plus

• Knowledge of Caseware is desirable
