MNP Tax Internship for Students

Become a part of MNP's innovative Cross Border Individual Tax team as an intern, where you will develop your skills in international tax advisory and compliance.

This internship position at MNP is ideal for students working towards a commerce or business administration degree, ideally with a focus on accounting. You will play a key role in assisting with personal tax engagements and learn directly from seasoned professionals in the field, enriching your educational journey. Your work will involve engaging with both domestic and foreign tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare U.S. and Canadian tax returns

• Carry out estate and income tax planning tasks

• Conduct in-depth research on tax compliance issues

• Work alongside client engagement teams to enhance service

• Suggest new ideas to improve methods and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration in progress

• CPA PEP prerequisites ideally underway

• Previous experience in tax or accounting preferred

• Experience in client service an advantage

• Familiarity with tax and accounting software advantageous
