Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Elevate your accounting career at Odlum Brown as a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting. This Vancouver-based role emphasizes full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of our Finance and Accounting team, you'll handle treasury and general accounting duties. Your responsibilities will encompass managing month-end closes, preparing financial statements, and conducting variance analysis. You'll also contribute to compliance, audit readiness, and process improvement initiatives while fostering stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly and year-end general ledger close process

• Prepare and review internal financial statements

• Conduct variance analysis for financial performance

• Prepare regulatory reports for external compliance

• Support junior team members with guidance and coaching

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in full-cycle accounting role

• CPA designation and post-secondary accounting education

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and CIRO standards

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and accounting software
