Join Fort Garry Industries as a Payroll Administrator, responsible for managing biweekly payroll and ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations. This role combines accuracy and professionalism in a dynamic corporate environment.
This position requires expertise in payroll processes and compliance, along with effective communication skills. As a Payroll Administrator, you will prepare and distribute payroll for all employees, maintain payroll records, and address inquiries regarding benefits. Collaborating closely with accounting, you'll also have a significant role in managing short-term disability programs and monthly reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute accurate biweekly payrolls
• Maintain detailed payroll records and compliance
• Address payroll and benefits inquiries professionally
• Collaborate with finance on journal entries
• Support audits and manage confidential information
Requirements:
• PCP designation required, or extensive experience considered
• 3-5 years of payroll experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and office equipment
• Knowledge of multi-provincial payroll standards is an asset
