Powerex is searching for an organized individual for a one-year temporary role that enhances the Finance team during maternity leave. This position covers major accounts payable functions and provides a comprehensive experience in financial processes, while collaborating closely with the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders in compliance with internal controls

• Provide essential support for accounts payable functions

• Execute timely and accurate payment processing

• Facilitate energy billing assistance for the accounting team

• Identify and resolve system issues proactively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or related field

• Experience in payment processing and invoice handling

• Knowledge of procurement practices and systems

• Skills in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
