Junior Accountant, BDO

Become part of the Financial Reporting and Insights team at BDO in Greater Vancouver. This Junior Accountant role focuses on financial statement preparation and tax return filings.

BDO is seeking a Junior Accountant to support our Vancouver and Langley offices, starting September 2027. In this position, you'll prepare financial statements, work on tax returns, and engage with clients to build positive relationships. You will also participate in accounting analysis and ensure effective communication with team members throughout your tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for Compilation engagements

• Create working files for various client tax returns

• File corporate and/or personal tax returns accurately

• Build client relationships and respond to their queries

• Conduct ongoing accounting analysis and assignments

Requirements:

• Degree in progress or completed; pursuing CPA designation

• Proven leadership skills and initiative

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal formats

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
