Finance Accounting Associate

Position: Finance Accounting Associate Opportunity
Join the Vancouver Aquarium's Finance Department as an Accounting Associate. Be part of a team that values accuracy and service excellence in a busy, hands-on finance role.

In this role, the Accounting Associate will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and integrity while supporting accounts payable and revenue accounting functions. You will manage multiple priorities, ensuring timely transaction processing and solid internal controls within an energetic environment focused on creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier invoicing and payment processes

• Maintain accurate vendor records and handle discrepancies

• Prepare daily and periodic revenue reports

• Assist with month-end financial reconciliations

• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance

• Relevant experience in finance or accounting preferred

• Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

• Effective communicator and problem solver
