Senior Accountant
Xango is hiring a full-time Senior Accountant to own a portfolio of client engagements and help shape how this firm delivers work.
Our juniors handle preparation and transaction processing. You handle review, judgment, problem solving, process improvements, and day-to-day client communication.
We don't provide tax compliance or audit services. Our work is monthly, recurring, and predictable, which means no spring busy season and no 60-hour weeks.
About XangoXango provides outsourced accounting and finance services to businesses and not-for-profits with annual revenues between $1 million and $10 million. We act as our clients' finance team, allowing owners and executive directors to focus on running their organizations.
We're a small team of five, and we intend to grow thoughtfully rather than quickly. This allows us to pay attention to both the quality of our work and the people doing it. We care far more about outcomes than hours worked.
The team is remote which allows for flexibility and better productivity. We will never question a mid-day pilates class or gym session. We want to show up as the best possible version of ourselves to better service our clients.
Every member of our team is encouraged to use AI as part of their daily workflow. We encourage finding faster and better ways of working rather than "make work" to grind down the clock. We actively redesign processes instead of accepting repetitive work, and we expect the way we operate to look very different in two years than it does today.
