Position: Covenant House Senior Accountant Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll provide key support in financial operations while serving at-risk youth. Take responsibility for daily AP/AR transactions and engage in month-end account reconciliations to uphold financial integrity. Your insights will help shape reporting practices and budget support, impacting youth directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily cash receipts and posting batches

• Reconcile general ledgers monthly as required

• Assist in preparing detailed financial reports

• Support annual budget processes with department data

• Ensure consistency in applying internal controls

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• CPA designation or equivalent educational background

• Familiarity with Sage 300 accounting software

• Strong analytical skills for variance analysis

• Team-oriented mindset and flexible approach to change
