Position: Corix Utilities Accountant Role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will collaborate with multiple departments including Accounting, FP&A, and Operations. Responsibilities include preparing account reconciliations, assisting in financial analyses, and supporting audits. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage account reconciliations and financial documentation

• Prepare recurring journal entries and supporting analyses

• Reconcile monthly subledgers with general ledger accounts

• Handle asset accounting and depreciation tasks

• Assist in financial statement preparation and disclosures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience

• Foundational knowledge of ASPE and US GAAP

• Experience in regulated environments an asset

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
