Position: Cost Control Specialist for Projects
Progesys is hiring a Cost Control Specialist to manage financial aspects of large-scale industrial projects in Laval, Canada. This role emphasizes cost monitoring and reporting.
As a key member of Progesys, you will manage budgets, cash flow forecasts, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborating closely with the planning team, you will analyze project performance and make strategic recommendations for cost improvements. Your expertise will be essential to ensuring project budgets align with client policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project budgets and cash flow projections

• Prepare and analyze performance reports

• Monitor and recommend actions on cost variances

• Validate financial data accuracy from contractors

• Collaborate on continuous improvement of cost tools
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering

• 10 years of cost control experience, preferably in mining

• Understanding of PRISM G2 is an asset

• Strong analytical abilities and detail orientation

• Advanced Excel skills required
