Senior Accountant, Private Enterprise Audit

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading public accounting and advisory firm. This individual will support a portfolio of private and mid-market clients by conducting audit and review engagements, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing trusted advisory services. The ideal candidate is a CPA with public accounting experience who enjoys building client relationships while mentoring junior team members.

• Conduct audit and review engagements for a variety of clients
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Evaluate audit evidence and assess account balances, revenues, expenses, and assets
• Review and investigate discrepancies within financial records and reports
• Perform client walkthroughs related to AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
• Prepare working papers, reports, presentations, and client deliverables
• Establish and maintain charts of accounts and journal entries
• Build relationships with clients while supporting and mentoring junior staff
• Assist with inventory counts and support new client onboarding
• Participate in business development and identify opportunities for additional services

• 2-4+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience performing audit and review engagements
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Experience with accounting and tax software
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
