Chief Accountant

Our client is a small and well established real estate Company that is involved in development, property management and other various facets of the real estate market. The need has arisen for a CPA to act as a Chief Accountant in their small office in downtown Vancouver. The successful candidate will, hopefully, have had some previous experience in the real estate area and enjoy working in a small office where they perform a lot of the accounting duties themselves.

Specifically, your will undertake day to day accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, regulatory filings, payroll, tax remittances, T4 and T4 Summary preparation, personal accounting and bank account maintenance for the owner, bank reconciliations, budget preparation, general ledger maintenance/reconciliation, audit preparation for the auditors and generally acting as the main financial resource for the owner.
