Over the past 30 years, The Concord Group of companies has also diversified into business sectors such as: software and information technology, telecommunications, and green energy projects in solar, wind and hydroelectric power generation.

We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares financial statements and internal management reports and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects
  • Prepare and review journal entries and accounts payable
  • Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes
  • Prepares and reviews intercompany and related party transactions, at entity and consolidation level
  • Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors
  • Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns
  • Compiles annual operating budgets
  • Conducts variance analysis
  • Provides administrative support to the management as required.
  • Other duties may be required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position
  • CPA Designation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
  • Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
