You will play a crucial role in evaluating and enhancing the company's financial and operational systems. This position requires conducting comprehensive audits, providing policy recommendations, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Your experience in internal controls and accounting will be vital to the success of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan audits and perform financial assessments
• Identify and communicate areas for operational improvement
• Conduct spot-check inventory counts and reconciliations
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and acquisition teams
• Support external audits and compliance activities
Requirements:
• University degree and CPA or equivalent certification
• At least 2-3 years of relevant audit experience
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting principles
• Must live in Greater Vancouver and permitted to work in Canada
• Knowledge of governance requirements is essential
