In the Payroll Operations department, you will act as a Tier 2 support analyst, troubleshooting complex payroll issues while ensuring compliance with university policies.

Your role involves data analysis, system improvement recommendations, and providing oversight for payroll functions across UBC departments. You will also assist in training various stakeholders on payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with payroll accounting practices

• Troubleshoot complex payroll and system issues

• Provide training on payroll systems to staff

• Lead efforts in payroll data integrity analysis

• Communicate essential payroll deadlines and changes

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience with payroll systems, preferably Workday
