Payroll Supervisor at Seaspan Shipyards

Lead a collaborative payroll team at Seaspan Shipyards as a Payroll Supervisor. This role ensures compliance while delivering accurate, timely bi-weekly payroll for unionized employees in a hybrid work model.

As the Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee full-cycle payroll processing, support payroll compliance with legislation and policies, and guide a team of Payroll Clerks and Timekeepers. Your leadership will ensure payroll accuracy through reconciliations and reporting, while contributing to improvements and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll for unionized employees

• Review reconciliations and payroll accuracy

• Lead payroll year-end activities and audits

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree with payroll coursework

• At least ten years of full-cycle payroll experience

• Three years of supervisory experience

• Completion of NPI Compliance Practitioner certification

• Strong expertise in payroll and Excel skills
