MNP is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant with 2-4 years of relevant public accounting experience. This role allows you to conduct audits, reviews, and bookkeeping engagements, ensuring tailored financial insights for clients. Your expertise in Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards will aid in delivering customized solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements

• Set up files for new clients; manage multiple files simultaneously

• Perform accounts receivable, payable, and payroll walk-throughs

• Summarize financial status via balance sheets and reports

• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience

• Knowledge of PSAS, ASNPO, and ASPE

• Experience with government auditing

• Proficient with accounting software

• Strong understanding of business and management principles
