Lead technical accounting and financial reporting as Finance Administration Manager in Vancouver, BC, working full-time in-office with hands-on management responsibilities.
This manager oversees daily accounting and financial reporting while reporting to the VP, Finance & Corporate Services. Responsibilities include close processes, financial statements, reconciliations, controls, and team leadership. The role supports Canadian and U.S. entities and requires progressive accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and management reporting
- Oversee ledgers, payables, receivables, banking, and reconciliations
- Coordinate auditors, accountants, and tax advisors
- Mentor and develop the Accounting Assistant
- Five-plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related education
- Strong closing, reporting, general ledger, and reconciliation experience
- Advanced Microsoft 365 integration and reporting automation experience
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
