Apply corporate tax expertise in a hybrid Vancouver role managing compliance, reporting, planning, and reconciliations for a real estate organization.
This Tax Manager contract supports a North American real estate development, investment, and management company. You will prepare tax working papers, corporate and partnership returns, provisions, estimates, elections, and regulatory filings. The position also supports tax research and investor-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain tax working papers and continuity schedules
- Reconcile tax and accounting balances, investigating discrepancies
- Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns and filings
- Respond to tax authority enquiries and support tax planning
- Improve tax processes, working papers, and accounting projects
- Professional accounting designation and five years’ tax experience
- Corporate tax compliance and provision experience
- Advanced Excel and Word skills
- Tax Prep or comparable tax software familiarity
- Ability to work four days weekly downtown Vancouver
