Hotel Financial Controller

Lead finance for Hilton Vancouver Downtown and Hotel Belmont Vancouver, using USALI reporting and advanced Excel across two properties. This hands-on role is based downtown, with regular on-site time at Hotel Belmont.
As Financial Controller, you will own accounting, reporting, tax, audit, and controls for both hotels. You will lead a small finance team, partner with General Managers and Pacific Reach, and support budgets, forecasts, capital projects, and brand transition work. The expected start date is mid-February to early-March 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead combined month-end close and prepare USALI financial statements
Review reconciliations, adjustments, allocations, and inter-company transactions
Build budgets, reforecasts, and rolling year-end outlooks
Manage cash forecasting, investor distributions, and owner reporting
Coordinate audits, tax filings, payroll reporting, and controls
Requirements:
CPA designation or accounting or finance degree with equivalent experience
Five-plus years as a hotel Controller or Assistant Controller
Knowledge of USALI, Canadian taxes, and BC employment standards
Experience leading year-end audits and using hotel systems
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
Bring hotel finance leadership, USALI expertise, and clear communication to two Vancouver properties and Pacific Reach ownership.
