Seeking a motivated Facilities Maintenance Assistant at Vancouver Coastal Health to streamline office tasks and support maintenance operations. Perform essential clerical functions for efficient workflows.

This role requires a Grade 12 graduate with a completed secretarial program and three years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for processing maintenance orders, managing documentation, and providing support for scheduling and communication. Strong organizational skills and an ability to operate related equipment are key for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and prioritize maintenance orders for manager attention

• Update departmental maintenance management database regularly

• Type both technical and non-technical documents

• Arrange meetings and document their minutes

• Maintain the inventory of office supplies and equipment

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 and secretarial program

• Minimum three years of related experience

• Proficiency in typing at 50 words per minute

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to execute various clerical duties effectively
