As a Board & Committee Administration Assistant, you will provide vital logistical and administrative support to the Board of Directors and select committees. This includes coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and organizing governance processes, ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule Board and committee meetings with accurate calendar management
• Prepare and distribute agendas, briefing notes, and reports
• Draft meeting minutes and maintain organized records
• Track action items and follow up on outstanding tasks
• Assist with the development of onboarding materials for the Board
Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Basic typing speed and proofreading abilities
• Familiarity with digital tools like Microsoft Office
• Interest in nonprofit governance and administration
Support nonprofit governance while gaining essential administrative experience at the Jewish Federation.
