Job Description & How to Apply Below
In-office, Vancouver
Company:
Treewalk
Treewalk is not a traditional accounting firm. We work with ambitious founders and operators who want clarity, momentum, and leverage—not just clean books. Our work sits at the intersection of accounting, strategy, and execution, and how we operate internally reflects that same standard.
We value people who take ownership, move quickly, and figure things out. This role exists to support that environment—keeping leadership focused, operations running smoothly, and helping us attract and onboard great people.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to join our team in Vancouver.
This is a hands‑on, in‑office role that combines executive support, recruiting coordination, office management, and people operations. You’ll work closely with leadership, helping keep a fast‑moving team aligned, organized, and operating efficiently.
This is not a “wait for instructions” role. We’re looking for someone who operates like a Swiss army knife—comfortable jumping into whatever is needed and figuring things out. No task is too big or too small. You take ownership and get things done.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, take on responsibility, and grow into operations, HR, or leadership roles over time.
What You’ll Do
Manage calendars, scheduling, and day‑to‑day executive support
Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and manage candidate pipelines
Support hiring processes from application to onboarding
Help run onboarding and maintain internal documentation
Keep the office organized and handle day‑to‑day operations
Assist with internal events and team activities
Jump in wherever needed to keep things moving
What We’re Looking For
Youdon’t need extensive experience, but you do need strong ownership, judgment, and reliability. We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Clear communicator who’s comfortable working with people
Resourceful and able to solve problems independently
Comfortable with ambiguity and minimal structure
High agency — you take initiative and follow through
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
Experience in admin, recruiting, legal, or operations roles
How You’ll Work
In‑office in Vancouver (collaboration matters)
Direct access to leadership
High trust, high accountability environment
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. You won’t just be managing calendars—you’ll be embedded in how the business operates, supporting hiring, improving processes, and helping the team run more effectively.
Several team members who started in similar roles have gone on to become Chief of Staff and Directors within the company. This role has the potential to be a launchpad for someone who wants to grow into the business and take on increasing responsibility over time.
If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and being the person who makes things happen behind the scenes, this role will suit you.
Salary: $60,000
