As a Claims Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Claims team’s daily operations and ensuring the accurate handling of client documentation and requests. - Screen and distribute emails and incoming requests to the appropriate team members;
- Sort, scan, and manage incoming mail and documentation, including digital imaging;
- Prepare, print, and assemble client correspondence and required documentation;
- Conduct system searches to retrieve client information and follow up on returned mail;
- Support claims setup and update files, including payment status and client information;
- Communicate with clients (calls and emails) to respond to inquiries or obtain missing information;
- Collaborate with claims analysts and internal teams to support daily operations.
- Is known for their strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Stands out for their ability to manage repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy;
- Is recognized for their teamwork and ability to collaborate in a high-volume environment;
- Has 2–3 years of experience in customer service or administrative support (finance industry an asset);
- Is able to come to the office 2 to 3 times per week in a hybrid work model;
- Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 50,000 $ and 55,000 $ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
