OfficeAdministrator and Receptionist
This role is the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and external partners. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role provides administrative and operational support across the Vancouver office and to the broader leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to a professional, welcoming work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage reception duties including calls, mail, packages, and visitor coordination.
- Oversee office facilities and kitchen, ensuring they are clean, stocked, safe and well-organized.
- Manage office supplies including vendor coordination and reconciliations with accounting team.
- Provide administrative and event support to the team including expense reports, travel arrangements, corporate events, and other ad hoc tasks.
- Support HR with onboarding, documentation, and other HR duties.
- Assist with safety orientation, compliance reporting, project support, and office moves.
- Liaise with building management for maintenance, access cards, security, and safety matters.
- Any other tasks as required by the Director of Human Resources or the Leadership team.
Required:
- 3–5 years of administrative, reception, or office administration experience (mining or industrial sectors preferred).
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired:
- Experience in supporting HR.
- Familiarity with safety programs or documentation processes.
- Experience in a growing or multi-site organization.

This position is based in Vancouver, BC, with potential travel to the project site and corporate events as required.
This is a fully on-site position requiring 20 hours per week. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; however, working hours may be adjusted from time to time by mutual agreement, provided the schedule remains 4 hours per day, 5 days per week.
