Elevate your career with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia as an Administrative Assistant specialized in complaint management. This full-time role supports individuals with exceptional organizational and communication skills in a hybrid setting.
In this pivotal role reporting to the clinical manager, you will oversee new complaints as they arrive, ensuring comprehensive recording and effective communication with various stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with department staff to coordinate information and manage records, all while helping to facilitate the triage of complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collate and summarize new complaints from various sources
• Liaise with integral departments and manage correspondence
• Draft and proofread essential documents for clarity and accuracy
• Organize meetings and efficiently track follow-up actions
• Assist with the generation of annual license reports
Requirements:
• Successful completion of grade 12 and an office administration diploma
• Background in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
