Summary of Position:
The Parts Advisor plays a critical role in producing revenue for the parts department. You’ll be part of a department with 16 team members between two locations. You will be assigned to a workstation with its unique tasks. Your primary duties encompass ordering and selling parts, timely communication of delays and updates, weekly review of your special orders, providing exceptional support to clients, and ensuring adherence to parts deadlines and guidelines.
You'll actively contribute to the accuracy of our inventory, report discrepancies to our management team, and participate in keeping the department and your workstation organized. Collaborate with team members to complete department goals and participate in new tasks assigned by the management team. Additionally, you’ll be assigned additional shifts or hours considered as overtime to provide support during staff shortage.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of parts advisor experience from an automotive dealership environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with solid customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and dealership DMS.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
Hours:
- 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday - Saturday
The annual base salary for this role is $55,000. A monthly bonus is available based on the department’s gross profit performance. The total compensation package, including incentives, ranges from $55,000 to $67,500 annually.
