Southside Nissan is hiring an Automotive Shop Foreman to oversee service operations. This commission-based position demands strong leadership and quality control skills to ensure repair excellence.
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Service Manager, taking charge of technician management and operational workflows. Your mission includes inspecting completed repairs, diagnosing complex issues, and coaching the technical team to achieve peak performance. You will also work on continuous improvements by monitoring customer feedback and promoting a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise technician daily activities for maximum efficiency
• Ensure high-quality inspections on all repairs
• Conduct test drives for accurate assessments
• Manage repair orders and workflow within the shop
• Promote team accountability and safety compliance
Requirements:
• Proven experience in automotive technical roles
• Red Seal Certification or similar qualification
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Capability to manage multiple priorities
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
