Overview

Fountain Tire Vancouver (Marine Drive), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician.

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run‑flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Ensuring personal and coworker safety

• Previous experience preferred, but motivated individuals with a positive attitude will be trained
• Working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services, and wheels considered an asset
• Customer‑service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• Attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Driver Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kg (55 lbs)
