Vancouver Honda is currently seeking a Lube Technician to join our Service Department. Reporting to the Service Manage rand Shop Foreman, the Lube Technician plays an important role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance services and supporting the overall efficiency of the service team.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance procedures, conduct vehicle inspections, and assist technicians with a varietyof automotive service tasks. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the automotive industry, takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, and is looking to develop a long-term career in automotive service.

The expected pay for this position is $23.59 perhour.

• Performoil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications anddealership standards.
• Inspect,top up, and replace automotive fluids including coolant, brake fluid,transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
• Check,adjust, and maintain proper tire pressure.
• Performtire rotations, mounting, balancing, and seasonal tire changeovers.
• Conductmulti-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Replacevehicle batteries, test charging systems, and ensure proper installation.
• Replacewindshield wiper blades and inspect related components.
• Replaceand test exterior lighting components, including headlights, taillights,and signal lamps.
• Assist with the removal and installation of exhaust system components as required.
• Support minor interior and exterior trim repairs and replacements.
• Assistin identifying and addressing common vehicle concerns such as water leaksand basic maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and communicate inspection results to Service Advisors and senior technicians.
• Operateshop equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to dealership and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintaina clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Automotive service experience, apprenticeship experience, or automotive technical training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems,maintenance procedures, and repair practices.
• Experience operating tire mounting, balancing,and fluid service equipment is considered an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness tolearn new skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and performphysically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and working in varyingshop conditions.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
