We are seeking a Product Manager to help lead the Rivian mobile app experience. The app is how owners live with their vehicle every day: checking status and state of charge, sending remote commands, planning around charging, managing access, and staying ahead of vehicle health. You will partner closely with our product lead for mobile, owning initiatives across the app and taking them from strategy and roadmap through definition and delivery.

Every domain in our software portfolio surfaces on the phone, so a core part of this role is making the app one coherent product rather than a collection of features.

• Core App Initiatives:
  Take features across the core app experience from strategy through delivery: home and vehicle status, remote commands, onboarding and account setup, notifications and alerts. Partner with our mobile product lead on domain priorities, flexing across the app as roadmap needs evolve.

• Own App Coherence:
  Every domain team ships into the same app. Own the information architecture, navigation model, and interaction patterns that keep it feeling like one product, and hold the line on consistency as new surfaces land.

• Raise Quality and Performance:
  App launch time, command latency, reliability, crash-free rate, and vehicle wake behavior are the experience for most owners. Partner with mobile platform and vehicle software teams to make measurable improvements and hold them over time.

• Deliver Across Mobile and Vehicle:
  Own features end to end wherever they land, so an owner gets one coherent journey from the phone to the vehicle and back. Contribute to the vehicle roadmap where an app feature has an in-vehicle counterpart.

• Build on the Mobile Platform:
  Work within our mobile platform architecture and release model; partnering with platform, cloud, and domain product leads on shared dependencies and sequencing.

• Ship End to End:
  Take features from ideation to release with crisp requirements and user stories, daily collaboration with design and engineering, making the calls that keep releases moving.

• Prioritize on Evidence:
  Use owner feedback, app analytics, app store and support signal, and third-party quality data to inform decisions, and define the success metrics for everything you ship.

• Align Across Organizations:
  Partner with vehicle software, cloud services, identity and profiles, charging, and service teams across the company, including joint venture program commitments, to deliver coherent, high-quality experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer products at scale.
  
  - Direct experience shipping mobile applications on iOS or Android, including release cadence and app quality ownership.

• Proven end-to-end ownership from strategy through definition through delivery, in close partnership with design and engineering.

• Strong analytical fluency: defining metrics, working directly with data, and adjusting course based on evidence.
