MOSAIC, a leading non-profit organization for newcomers in Canada, is looking for an Employment Specialist at its Boundary-Highgate Location. Your focus will be on helping clients develop job search skills, prepare for interviews, and understand workplace norms. You will utilize an ESL-informed approach to facilitate workshops and work collaboratively with employers and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess job market trends and community employment needs

• Provide guidance on resumes and job applications

• Conduct workshops on cultural workplace competencies

• Market clients to local employers for job placements

• Monitor participant progress and report outcomes

Requirements:

• Relevant academic background or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with employment and settlement programs

• Fluent in English and either Spanish or Farsi

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability

• Criminal Record Check required
