Climate Business Development Associate

Support climate business development at Vancity through research and coordination. This full-time, permanent role uses a hybrid work arrangement with onsite attendance for events.
As an Associate, Climate, you will help implement Vancity’s Climate Action Plan and advance priority initiatives. You will coordinate workplans, research opportunities, prepare materials, track activity, and support members. The role reports to the Director, Climate Strategy & Performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate climate business workplans, trackers, timelines, and follow-ups
Research opportunities, member needs, partners, policies, and sustainable finance practices
Support pilots, partnerships, workshops, and working groups
Prepare briefing notes, presentations, summaries, and partner materials
Collaborate across Business, Product, Marketing, and Impact Strategy teams
Requirements:
Experience supporting projects, research, business development, or program implementation
Strong research, analytical, coordination, and organizational skills
Excellent written communication for varied audiences
Strong relationship-building and collaboration abilities
Sound judgment, initiative, and process improvement skills
Bring climate research, coordination, and communication skills to help Vancity deliver business initiatives and member supports.
