Lead Asana’s API and MCP product strategy from Vancouver, applying systems thinking and technical product management in an office-centric hybrid schedule.
As Lead Product Manager, you will shape developer-facing platform products for external developers and AI agents. You will connect APIs, authentication, permissions, dependencies, and failure modes to customer workflows. The role centers on reliable, secure access to Asana’s Work Graph.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the APIs and MCP server product vision
- Prioritize roadmaps connecting customer needs with strategy
- Improve documentation, authorization, adoption, and time to value
- Partner with engineering on reliability and compatibility
- Define permissions and accountability for agent actions
- Six to eight years of product management experience
- Experience launching B2B SaaS or developer platform products
- Technical fluency with APIs, authentication, and permissions
- Experience designing contracts and managing backward compatibility
- Experience mentoring and developing product managers
