Our client, a well-established General Contractor with astrong portfolio across ICI, recreational, and healthcare projects, is seekinga Senior Estimator to join their team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for adisciplined, detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of the localconstruction and subcontractor marketplace and a proven ability to managecomplex cost planning and estimating functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadthe preparation of detailed cost estimates for ICI, recreational, and healthcare projects, including long-term care facilities.
• Analyzeproject plans, specifications, and design documents to determine accurate cost structures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and reliable pricing.
• Collaborate with project management and pre-construction teams to align estimates with project goals and delivery models.
• Presentclear and compelling cost data and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement, cost bench-marking, and estimating best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum5 years of estimating experience and 4 years in construction management.
• Strong understanding of Vancouver’s ICI construction market and subcontractornetwork.
• Experience working with a general contractor (not a developer); self-performexperience is an asset.
• Degreeor diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or arelated field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and cost-estimating software.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with a disciplined approach toprocess.
• Abilityto clearly present complex cost data and influence decision-making.
