As a member of the Terrazzo Tile & Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC), Bridgewater provides expert craftsmanship from consultation to project completion.
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator / Project Coordinator located in Vancouver, BC. Responsibilities include preparing detailed construction and project cost estimates, coordinating project timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. The selected candidate will work closely with project managers to ensure all aspects of tile installations are seamlessly executed from the planning phase through completion.
Key Responsibilities- Quantity take-offs & detailed estimates
- Review bid documents (scopes, specs, drawings, addenda)
- Support tendering, contracts, and change order costing
- Track budgets, milestones, procurement support (PRs, ordering, deliveries)
- Communicate project status to internal/external stakeholders
- 2+ years of estimating experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Construction, Building Technology, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture, and/or a PQS certification is a definite asset
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Project knowledge to prepare cost quotes and bids
- Proven analytical and mathematical skills necessary for material and labour estimates and interpreting job costs reports
- Ability to read and interpret building specifications, blueprints and as-builts
- Expertise in traditional subcontractor work scopes, construction systems and methods, construction specifications and tendering practices
- Possess a high level of critical and logical analysis and reasoning
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective and trusting relationships both internally and externally
- Measure Square or Plan Swift experience is a strong asset.
