The Construction Department plays a critical role in bringing thepany's vision to life by delivering high‑quality spaces that are thoughtfully designed, built to brand standards, andpleted on time and on budget.This client is currently in the process of an expansion across North America which will include over 100 new retail stores, distribution centres and office space across the USA and Canada.
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will join this client's construction team and be responsible for delivering unique, high‑profile projects from design through topletion. You will oversee all aspects of the construction process, working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and construction partners to ensure projects meet thepany's standards for design, quality, schedule, and budget. You will partner closely with internal design, development, and operations teams to align project execution, while leading and overseeing General Contractors, validating build quality, safety performance, scheduling, and cost control.This role offers strong long‑term career growth within apany renowned for itsmitment to internal development and advancement.
What you'll need to succeed
This owner is seeking candidates with 8+ years of project management experience, ideally gained from a general contractor. Professionals with abination of contractor and owner/client‑side experience will also be considered. Experience delivering high‑endmercial projects—particularly in retail or hospitality—or residential construction is strongly preferred. A technical education in Construction Management, Engineering, a technical diploma, Carpentry, or a related field is preferred but not required.Prior field experience is considered an asset. You will bring the ability to collaborate strategically with cross‑functional internal teams and external consultants. This is a highly visible role best suited to an experienced construction professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, design‑driven environment and enjoys leadingplex builds while working closely with multiple stakeholders.
