Become a vital part of a leading general contractor as a Senior Estimator in Vancouver, BC. Your focus will be on delivering precise estimates for ICI projects ranging from $5M to $60M.
Our client is a well-established contractor seeking a Senior Estimator to enhance their pre-construction team. You will prepare full-cycle estimates while collaborating with Project Managers and subcontractors in the commercial, institutional, and light industrial sectors. This role emphasizes accuracy in budgeting, risk identification, and enhancing estimating processes for significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare full-cycle estimates for ICI projects
• Analyze project documents for accurate costing
• Review and evaluate subcontractor pricing
• Assist in budgeting and pre-construction planning
• Identify value engineering opportunities
Requirements:
• 5–15+ years of estimating experience in ICI construction
• Familiarity with commercial and industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology
• Experience with estimating software
• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
