** We are seeking an experienced and driven
** Senior Estimator – Drywall & Interior Systems
** to join our growing team. This is a key role for a construction professional who brings deep expertise in interior systems and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You will play a critical part in shaping project success from the earliest stages, leading the development of accurate, competitive bids for complex institutional, commercial, and large-scale construction projects.

** What you'll do:
*** Utilize advanced expertise in drywall and interior systems construction to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for large-scale institutional, commercial, and complex construction projects.
* Lead the preparation of detailed and competitive bids, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
* Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope requirements, risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for value engineering.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry partners to secure competitive pricing and ensure accurate cost forecasting.
* Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analyses using industry-standard estimating software.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions while maintaining project quality, safety, and performance standards.
* Evaluate project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies during the pre-construction and bidding phases.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and estimating staff, supporting their professional development and ensuring estimating standards are maintained.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and senior leadership during pre-construction to support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
* Participate in bid reviews, scope clarification meetings, and contract negotiations with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Maintain awareness of market conditions, labor trends, material pricing, and regulatory requirements impacting drywall and interior systems construction.
* Support continuous improvement of estimating procedures, cost databases, and internal estimating processes.

* What you bring:

*** Minimum 10+ years of drywall estimating experience, with a strong focus on institutional, commercial, healthcare, education, or other large-scale complex projects.
* Extensive knowledge of drywall systems, steel stud framing, acoustic ceilings, fire-rated assemblies, and interior finishing systems.
* Demonstrated experience preparing estimates for large and complex projects with significant construction budgets.
* Proficiency in estimating software preferably On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid, as well as familiarity with other industry-standard software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* In-depth understanding of drywall construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately interpret project plans and specifications.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Proven ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
